No Earthquake on July 18th

Philvocs has just informed the public that the alleged Eathquake on July 18th will not happen.

The Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has dismissed as bogus an e-mail warning of an 8.1-magnitude earthquake that would shake the country next week.

"There is no basic science behind it," said Phivolcs Director Renato Solidum Jr. in a phone interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer following a 4.5-magnitude tremor that rocked several portions of Luzon Sunday night.

Solidum said there was no science organization that could determine or predict an earthquake—its exact magnitude and date.

MV Princess Ferry sinks and lot is missing

MV Princess of the Stars sinks and reported that there are 700 missing passenger.

The ferry carrying more than 700 people sank in typhoon-tossed waters off Sibuyan island in Romblon province, one survivor recounted

Just now the navy has recounted that there is no sign of life in the vicinity of the sunken Ferry.

Reports furthers say that :

The ship had 724 passengers, 121 crew, and four sea marshals when it stalled due to engine failure and capsized in stormy waters amid the onslaught of typhoon "Frank" (international codename: Fengshen) on Saturday evening, Commodore Luis Tuason, chief of the Metro Manila Coast Guard, said.

I have read that there is an Abduction happens with Ces Drilon, But why I have not heard any from the News. Is there a News Black Out for this. Although Malacanang confirms abduction already. We have to wait for further to be provided by those blogger's that have other resources aside from the media.

Breaking News : Rudy Fernandez Died

Actor Rudy Fernandez died at his home in White Plains, Quezon City at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, radio reports say. He was 55.  Fernandez had been suffering from periampullary cancer for almost three years. He was brought home a month after staying in a hospital.  He and wife Lorna Tolentino celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last Sunday.  His remains lie in state at the Heritage Park in Taguig City. Fernandez was born on March 3, 1953 in Manila.
