Nope this is not yet the results , but I am just informing about the recent Nursing Examination that took place.
The examination for the Nursing Board Exam Results has been completed last month of June 2009 and everybody who took the exam is hoping that the Nursing board exam results will be released soon. So to all of you that is waiting for the June 2009 Nursing Board Result be sure to be prepare accept if you will fail or pass.

Grade 3 pupils got Swine flu

122 Grade 3 students caught fever in Bacolod City. This is the reason why suspension of classes were made. The name of the school is St. John’s Institute. According to Principal Marilou Geraldoy only Grade 3 classes will be suspended until Wednesday. The students started to get sick Friday last week and that the students were not able to attend their classes.
Monitoring of students is advised to know who among the students have swine flu.
Dr. Salome Binas, city health officer, said they have yet to determine if any of the pupils had history of travel to a country with confirmed A (H1N1) cases.

Smart subscribers can also call from Smart to Talk ‘n Text but not from Talk ‘n Text to Smart. Prepaid subscribers may avail through registration. Just type Talk100 then send to 6400 for Smartalk 100 package which is worth 100 pesos and Talk500 for 500 worth. The payment will be automatically deducted from the prepaid load.
When making a call using the Smartalk unlimited package, Smart Buddy or prepaid subscribers need to dial *6400 plus the 11-digit subscriber number being called.
Tornado and Hailstorm in Batangas

Who would imagine that a hailstorm would hit the Philippines. Even the residents there could not believe what they saw. It was in Batangas province where Tropical storm Feria or Nangka as its international code name, that a hailstorm was seen and felt by the residents Tuesday afternoon.
Areas in the towns of San Pascual, Bauan and Batangas City said ice cube-like objects fell in the middle of a heavy downpour and strong winds
At that time there was no storm warning when that happened. The trees were uprooted and their rooftops showed that a storm just passed. A boy was even hit by a falling tree. According to the residents in Bauan, this was the first time this thing happened wherein there was almost zero visibility in the area. They believe that it was a real Tornado.
Some barangay experienced knee to waist deep floods because of overflowing creeks.Traffic became heavy and a child has been injured in Barangay San Antonio.
Residents in Barangay San Antonio said they never experienced this situation even during typhoons. A child was reported to have been injured in the barangay. Some areas still have no electricity.
Swine Flu Fatality from the House of Representatives

A 49 year old employee of the House of Representatives who had swine flu died. But according to the doctors the death was mainly because the woman had swine flu also has a heart and liver disease which made her body really weak. Batasan Pambansa complex in Quezon City was shut down due to this. The suspension of work until Sunday was ordered by House Speaker Prospero Nograles. The buildings will undergo sanitation during the days of suspension of work.
I have already instructed the concerned House officials to coordinate and maintain close coordination with the DOH in order to mitigate possible effects on other employees and their families," Nograles said in a statement posted on the House website.
The other employee with swine flu underwent self-quarantine at home.
The death of the 49-year-old woman was the first in the country and in Asia, a health official said Monday.
World Health Organization’s latest update in the swine flu virus reached 52,160 people across the globe with 231 deaths. In the Philippines, there are 445 cases of swine flu as of Monday where 84% have fully recovered.
Storm Feria lands on RP

The PAGASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported today that a tropical storm named FERIA landed in the Philippines on its eastern shores. They said that FERIA has made landfall over Borongan, Eastern Samar moving west or northwest at speed of 22 km per hour and it has a maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center.
Feria is forecasted to intensify into typhoon as it reaches Metro Manila tomorrow in the afternoon.
Elementary and high school classes in Eastern Visayas were canceled due to winds and rains from Feria.
Freddie Roach Fires his assistant trainer

Freddie Roach fired his assistant trainer Michael Moorer because of personality conflicts between Moorer and Manny Pacquiao, and also between Moorer and Amir Khan. Moorer was a former world heavyweight champion
According to Brad Cooney of 8CountNews.com, Moorer was asked to leave his position at the Wild Card Gym “due to a conflict of personalities that had been creating issues amongst the wild card stable.”
According to Roach Amir approached him to be his trainer, and Manny Pacquiao also did the same thing. Inspite of what happened Roach said there were no hard feelings when he fired Moorer. He even thanked Moorer for his involvement in the Wild Card which was located in Hollywood, California. Roach also trained Moorer during his time.
Moorer retired from professional boxing with a record of 52 wins (with 40 knockouts), four losses and one draw.
54 New A(H1N1) | Swine Flu case

It has been reported by the DOH Department of Health that there are new 54 confirmed H1N1 positive. But they have told that the mortality rate of H1N1 is 0.05% only which is very low compared to other sickness like SARS, Fever and other deadly sickness. So the people should be educated about the information of this new sickness.
If I were DOH I will make an advertisement in order to educate the people .

It has been announce by Bob Arum that they will be talking to Miguel Cotto as next Manny Pacquiao’s opponent in the boxing ring. Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquiao is both under Bob Arum umbrella, so this fight will not create any problem since they only have one promoter. After the winning fight of Miguel Cotto with Clottey, Filipinos will now be watching his career, most specially now that Bob Arum informs about the Cotto and Pacquiao Match.
