Joel Guinto of INQUIRER.net reported that PNP tags 9 provinces poll ‘areas of concern’

PNP spokesman Chief Superintendent Samuel Pagdilao Jr., in a statement, identified the nine provinces as Cagayan, Isabela, Abra (The province was placed under the control of the Commission on Elections on Tuesday. See related story), Nueva Ecija, Masbate, Western Samar, Lanao del Sur, and Basilan.

He said the classification of the nine provinces as “areas of concern” will be “among the considerations in operational planning such as deployment of security forces, structuring of local PNP units, and availability of resources.”

Explaining the classification, Pagdilao said some of the following conditions exist in the nine provinces: a history of election violence, the existence of intense political rivalry, the possible deployment of private armies, and serious threats from communist or Muslim rebels.

However, he stressed that the nine provinces are not considered “hotspots.”

“This initial assessment of the prevailing situation in these election areas of concern is still subject to further validation,” Pagdilao added.

I just don’t know why people can do violence just to top at election. It is already a news since I was young until now. But why there is violence, Is this because of the Dragon Like Candidate who always like to take control of his place? Well I think it is now time to stop it. It is nonsense.
