Adamson won over UP

Adamson University Falcons won over University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons in the 72nd UAAP men’s basketball on Saturday with the score of 74-61. Adamson ended with the slate of 5-9. The fifth ranked team will play in the Cebu leg while the sixth placer will joust in the Naga leg of the PCCL’s wildcard series for a slot in the Sweet 16.

The UP Fighting Maroons, on the other hand, duplicated their 3-11 record last season.

AdU 74 – Camson 13, Colina 12, Canuday 11, Nuyles 10, Galinato 6, Alvarez 5, Margallo 4, Lozada 4, Canada 4, Cabrera 3, Lapitan 2, Penalosa 0, Sandoval 0, Ruiz 0, Basillio 0.

UP 61 – Co 13, Braganza 10, Martin Reyes 8, Juruena 5, Astorga 5, Padilla 4, Lopez 4, Mikee Reyes 3, Gamboa 3, Sison 0, Maniego 0, De Asis 0, Marfori 0, Gomez 0, Gingerich 0.

Quarters: 16-21, 36-32, 57-46, 74-61.
