Incumbent Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim was proclaimed winner in the mayoralty race over another Atienza.
Lim, a former senator and former two-term mayor, was proclaimed after the local election office found that it "highly improbable" for his rivals to catch up with him.

Lim got a 369,445 while Atienza who was once his vice mayor has 165,892 votes. Isko Moreno was proclaimed vice mayor enjoying a 300,000 lead over Maria Lourdes Isip-Garcia.

In Caloocan City, Incumbent Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri is leading over Luis “Baby” Asistio and Roberto Cordero as of early Tuesday morning.

Michael Fariñas won as Mayor of Laoag after the canvassing early Tuesday morning and was officially proclaimed because Fariñas ran unopposed. For the Vice Mayor, the officials proclaimed Eddie Domingo.
Joseph Estrada and Jejomar Binay are both leading the position of president and vice president respectively in Laog City.
Imee Marcos who is running for governor against her cousin and Ferdinand Marcos Jr. running for Senator leads in Ilocos Norte.

The reshuffle of the Bureau of Customs’s Personnel are being done before the coming May elections, specifically the agency’s Enforcement and Security Service which include an official in Subic Bay who was involved on a sexual harassment case.
The reshuffle has been signed by Customs Commissioner Napoleon Morales.
Capt. Ramon Policarpio of Subic Bay will replace Port of Manila chief Jose Yunchongco. Yunchongco will still be the chief of Customs of Police Department and deputy director of the Enforcement and Security Service.

Commission on Elections or Comelec earlier said that they are confident that the election results from the poll machines will not be hacked. They believe that the websites are secure inspite of the reports of the hacked national govenment agencies like the DOH (Department of Health) and DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development).
Comelec officials said that they are constantly monitoring on their websites.

Since there are some location in Philippines wherein the Winning candidate was not yet proclaimed due to so many reasons. It has been decided by the President by issuing an Administrative Order 180 signed by Arroyo on June 29 and released by Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita Monday, to fill temporary vacancies “in order to avoid disruption of the delivery of basic services and the paralysis of local government operations.”

PARANG, Shariff Kabunsuan – The Commission on Elections declared Saturday a failure of special elections in Butig, in Lanao del Sur after members of the board of election inspectors refused to do their duties.

A senior Malacañang on Friday said the conduct of special elections in 13 towns of Lanao del Sur on Saturday will disprove allegations that the province is prone to election fraud.
