“Nasubukan na natin lahat. Bakit di naman natin subukan ang taong may takot sa Diyos? Siguradong di sya gagawa ng masama dahil di nya pwedeng suwayin ang itinuturo niya,” the city mayor also said of the Bangon Pilipinas Party standardbearer.

Meanwhile, Villanueva who runs on a platform of “Anim na taon na walang korapsyon” wowed the crowd of more than 5,000 people when he spoke before them at the Palawan Coliseum.

Quoting Section 18 of the Local Government Code, Villanueva said that under a righteous leadership, Palawan should have received its rightful share of P5B a year from the Malampaya revenues.

“Kung matino ang gobyerno, dapat sana’y naibigay sa Palawan ang P5B pondo kada taon. Mai-integrate ang sea transport, land transport, air transport. Dapat sana’y number one tourist destination na ang Palawan sa buong mundo,” he underscored.

"But I don’t see how this is connected with the disqualification case [against Santiago]," Jimenez said.

Virginia Bayer, an employee of the poll body’s Education and Information Department (EID), said that a male caller called the Comelec hotline at around 9:55 a.m. He angrily told Bayer that a bomb was planted at the 3rd floor of the building, as "protesta para kay Miriam," then immediately hung up.

The PNP and comelec security searched the floor and found no signs of bomb, at 11 am the bomb threat was dismissed.

They were not able to trace the origin of the call because the building has no caller ID or other security measures. CCTV cameras and K9 dogs are place in the commissioners’s office and the law department which is found inthe Palacio del Gobernador building.

Jimenez said that this first time threat will be taken seriously by the Comelec.

“In case this happens that the Comelec website is hacked, there are still other servers where the data may be accessed,” said Commissioner
Gregorio Larrazabal.

The election results will be transmitted to different parties: the municipal canvasser, the server of dominant minority, dominant majority, citizens’ arm, Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas, and the Comelec central server.

They used different hosts for different websites to minimize the danger of being attacked all at the same time. But still they don’t claim that they are hack-free 100%

“If it is hacked, your best defense is that the system has generated several originals,” added Jimenez.

The Comelec will connect the PCOS or the precinct count optical scan to a wireless portable device that will send the data to the servers. This is done after the voting. However, the delivery of the poll machines has been delayed.

The machines are to be delivered to a factory in Cabuyao, Laguna. Tests will be done to ensure that the machine is 100 percent ready for the May elections.

The senatorial canvass report No. 28 showed Pimentel with 10,971,362 votes and Zubiri with 10,970,861 votes, giving the GO candidate a mere 501-vote edge over the TU bet.

I just don’t know If I will still believe on that counts. Knowing that there are some Comelec Official held in question in one of he province that gave a 12-0 result favoring Administration bet.

Since there are some location in Philippines wherein the Winning candidate was not yet proclaimed due to so many reasons. It has been decided by the President by issuing an Administrative Order 180 signed by Arroyo on June 29 and released by Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita Monday, to fill temporary vacancies “in order to avoid disruption of the delivery of basic services and the paralysis of local government operations.”

I just hope that this OIC will not do something wrong that the Filipino people will be affected. But what about the senate will the President put an OIC in the absence of the 12 th candidate?

Maguindanao election supervisor Answered accusation given by Ferrer the other day.

Maguindanao election supervisor Answered accusation given by Ferrer the other day.

“I would have preferred a more rigid investigation by the Task Force,” the controversial Maguindanao election supervisor told the Philippine Daily Inquirer, parent company of INQUIRER.net, in an interview in his office at the provincial capitol here.

Bedol arrived in his office around 9 a.m., pistol clipped to his waistband just like when he was interviewed by the Inquirer and GMA 7 in Cotabato City late Sunday night.

He said he has not yet been informed by the Comelec of the decision of the task force, led by commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer, to relieve him as Maguindanao’s chief election official.

“Bahala sila [It’s up to them]. They can do that. It’s an administrative prerogative which can be done by any manager. At least there are no political activities now [that a provincial election supervisor must oversee]. It’s good because you can rest,” Bedol said, smiling, when asked to comment on Ferrer’s recommendation.

Bedol said there was no reason for the Comelec main office not to be able to find him in Maguindanao.

He said he has to have a subpoena before leaving Maguindanao lest he be accused of abandoning his post, and for purposes of reimbursement of expenses.

Full answer of Lintang Bedol here

The question now is, Who is telling the truth among them. Can people rely on Maguindanao votes? which will decide the 12th Senator of the Philippine Republic. What ever the decision of the Supreme Court and Comelec, It should always be for the People and not for the Politician.
