Philippines’ Pride Charice Pempengco played a small role in the Hollywood film “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel”. Charice played as the biggest rival of the chipmunks in a singing competition. Charice Pempengco sang “No One” by Alicia Keys.

The movie was reported to have ranked as No. 3 in the worldwide box office as of January 3. On the 12-day it reached a total of $157.3 million.

Charice is now in the United States to prepare for the release of her 2nd international single called “Pyramid,” which is part of her international album. Her album is to be launched February of March of this year.
