Erik Johnston Chua one of the person mentioned by OMB Chairman Edu Manzano as the alleged source of the Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho denied that he uploaded the video. At the statement he gave to the press, he also mentioned that he is not a doctor but a businessman, he is also a close friend of Hayden Kho and denied he is a member of a fraternity of the latter.

Edu Manzano was able to trace Erik Chua’s IP address very early at the height of the Kho-Halili scandal.

NBI claims that it would take month’s for them to even get hold of the system records which will require a US court order.

    What’s our take on this?

    - OMB have a more sophisticated technology than NBI
    - NBI people are technically challenged as compared to Edu and his OMB gang
    - OMB had already necessary US court order ever before the video scandal become a HOT item
    - Edu’s a big liar who will do anything to claim the spotlight

Bottomline – On the basis that NBI as the lead agency proclaims that it does have enough information to claim that EJC uploaded the video. EJC have probable cause to sue Edu Manzanon of Libel and obstruction of justice.

BTW – what’s Edu Manzano’s business granting a televised interview with HK? Is he trying to revive his Late Night Show with Edu MAnzano?

Bad judgment – he does not possess the qualification to handle a fact-finding interview (if that’s what he is aiming to achieve). It’s forgivable if that’s a segment on The Buzz or Startalk but not as a legitimate news item where he carries the name of OMB.
