Finally Trillanes will be proclaimed on Friday ,

MANILA, Philippines — Detained opposition candidate Antonio Trillanes IV is the 11th senator-elect and is set to be proclaimed Friday, Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman Benjamin Abalos said Thursday.

The decision to proclaim Trillanes, a former Navy lieutenant, was made by the Comelec, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers, after finishing the canvass of votes from Surigao del Norte.

Everybody who believes in the platform and what would Trillanes do for the Philippines is now happy. But ofcourse there are some Government personlaities which are not happy on what happened to Trillanes. One of which is Armed Forces of the Philippines chief of staff General Hermogenes Esperon

“It’s not really the most welcome thing for me,” Esperon told reporters in a chance interview in Malacañang. “But to be frank about it, I have nothing to do with this election.”

If I where Esperon I will just keep my mouth shut and be independent from Politics. The Armed forces of the Philippines should not comment on any political Issue from Philippines and show their independence from the politics. And always remember their mandate to defend the constitution
