BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) — Weightlifter Janos Baranyai of Hungary injured his right arm as he was competing in the Group B men’s 77kg category at Beijing Olympics here on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old Baranyai to lift 145kg in his second attmept before he fell onthe floor.

He was the eighth-place winner in the European Championships in April

"His right arm was dislocated and need urgent therapy."said Marta Victoria Barroga, the doctor on duty.

Baranyai was sent to the China-Japan FriendshipHospital, which is among the 24 hospitals as designated medical service providers for the Beijing Olympic Games.
