Inspite of the call for the sacrifice in favor of Senator Benigno “Noynoy Aquino” Aquino in running for the presidency, Senator Loren Legarda said she won’t give way to Noynoy.

Their party the NPC, Nationalist People’s Coalition, will be choosing soon between Loren Legarda and Chiz Escudero to run for president in the 2010 elections. Chiz also said recently that he will not sacrifice for Noynoy.

"Malapit na namin itong ihayag," Legarda said at the weekly Kapihan sa Sulo.

Legarda said, in choosing the right candidate, the basis should not be if he is a man or a woman but must be based on his/her qualifications.
