Incumbent Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim was proclaimed winner in the mayoralty race over another Atienza.
Lim, a former senator and former two-term mayor, was proclaimed after the local election office found that it "highly improbable" for his rivals to catch up with him.
Lim got a 369,445 while Atienza who was once his vice mayor has 165,892 votes.
Isko Moreno was proclaimed vice mayor enjoying a 300,000 lead over Maria Lourdes Isip-Garcia.
"We were expecting it because during the 45-day campaign, we saw the enthusiastic response of the crowd whenever we would go on a house to house campaign," Lim said.
According to Moreno, his tandem with Lim was believed by the Manileños.
