Thanks for your visit, We would also like to invite you in Tech At Hand

During holy week some people choose to spend time going out with their family as their vacation. A group of young leaders and professionals from all over the Philippines chose to hold medical missions in Tacloban City. They decided to help ten northern barangays in Tacloban City this week.

"We [will] spend our week in the community and sleep there. Aside from the medical mission, we also offer services to the community [like letting] them watch [films on] Jesus’ story," said Dr. Gloria Fabrigas, coordinator on special project for health under the Tacloban CIty Mayor’s office.

They will offer free consultations as well as dental services are given to the residents of the barangay, especially to the children. Barangay  chairman Robert Yap of Bacagay said he is happy that their barangay would be one of the beneficiaries of the medical mission. They also plan to organize other activities that will benefit the community.

The missions will be conducted until Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
