SC has set the arguments on Maguindanao votes as reported by Gmanews.tv

The Supreme Court on Tuesday deferred action on the petition of Genuine Opposition senatorial candidate Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III to stop the Commission on Elections from canvassing votes from Maguindanao province, saying it wants to hear the poll body’s side before issuing a temporary restraining order.

The high court, in an en banc session, set oral arguments on Pimentel’s plea for a TRO against the Comelec on Thursday, June 28 at 2 p.m.

Although on the television I have seen that the Maguindanao votes is started to be canvassed, The Comelec Commisioner told on television that Pimentel could always ask the Supreme Court regarding that matter.Since the Supreme Court has not yet TRO the Comelec will be forced to count the votes.

But will it be late to make the oral arguments on Thursday? . It should be done as soon as possible. This is the Philippine Election, The delay always happen.
