Were you able to watch the “slumdog millionaire“. Unfortunately I was not able to finish the movie when i watched on board (airplane), but I was able to see the kids who starred in the said movie. They were great actors.

The two kids their homes last month during demolition which means that they were really residents of that place. The makers of the said movie (slumdog millionaire) bought a new house for one of the 2 child stars.

The purchase of a 250-square-foot (23-square-meter) one-bedroom apartment for the family of Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, 10, was completed Monday, said Nirja Mattoo, who helps oversee the Jai Ho trust set up by the filmmakers to help Azharuddin and his 9-year-old co-star Rubina Ali.

The ownership of the house can be transferred to Azharuddin when he turns 18 with the conditiion that he completes his education. This was according to Mattoo. The house costs 2.5 million rupees or $50,000.

Mattoo said that they are also looking for a new home for Rubina.
