Is there any swine flu vaccine being develop ? A question that is always in my mind every time I heard News that there is an increasing cases of Swine Flu ( H1N1 ) in the country. Well according to reports at the Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology News (GEN) it will still takes 5 to six months to finalize the vaccine / antidote for the Swine Flu.

the World Health Organization has issued a Phase 5 pandemic alert, a strong signal that the WHO believes a pandemic is imminent, according to the June 1 issue of Genetic Engineering & Bio Technology News

“It can take five or six months to come up with an entirely novel influenza vaccine,” says John Sterling, Editor in Chief of GEN. “There is a great deal of hope that biotech and pharma companies might be able to have something ready sooner.”

I just hope that those doctors who are involve in getting the swine flu vaccine so for now you just to beware about the swine flu symptoms that you might feel. { Source }
