Michael Fariñas won as Mayor of Laoag after the canvassing early Tuesday morning and was officially proclaimed because Fariñas ran unopposed. For the Vice Mayor, the officials proclaimed Eddie Domingo.
Joseph Estrada and Jejomar Binay are both leading the position of president and vice president respectively in Laog City.
Imee Marcos who is running for governor against her cousin and Ferdinand Marcos Jr. running for Senator leads in Ilocos Norte.

Former President Joseph Estrada is about to return to Malacañang after almost nine years that he has been ousted. As expected by many people, Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III tops the Social Weather Stations survey. This was done between September 5-6 which was commissioned by a number of private individuals that include the business community.
The survey covers only Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Region 3 and Region 4A.
10 percent of the respondents belonged to the A, B and C classes, or the wealthy and middle class, while 90 percent belong to the D and E classes, or the poor.
