A 50 year old lady was reported to have an H1N1 virus in the country. This is the second patient to be named in Philippines, and was confirmed by the Department of Health (DOH). Health Secretary Franciso Duque II informed that the lady came from Chicago USA and arrived in the Philippines last May 20. According to DOH (Department of Health), 28 people here in the Philippines has been quarantined for exhibiting symptoms of H1N1 virus which is a deadly influenza virus. All tests they have undergone has a negative result.
The latest patient cleared from this virus is a 4-yr old girl from Naga City. This was according to Dr. Eric Tayag, chief of DOH’s National Epidemiology Center.
