A report made by PCIJ blog reveals that Pichay and Villar have been heavily spending on television and radio ads :
From February 13 to May 1, 2007, Team Unity’s Pichay, the top spender on political ads, spent about P151.72 million. Villar, the second top spender, spent P138.28 million. Data also show that Pichay and Villar have been heavily spending on television and radio ads.
That is something really I don’t understand because I just don’t know where will this senators get their return of investment if they succeed during election.

I would like to post here the Suggestion of John Marzan on his blogpost, in which I believe is a right question to throw to Genuine Opposition and Team Unity. All information that we have, is just coming from different websites and blogs available in the net.
1) Bakit walang official website ang GO (at TU)? Hindi ba basic yan?

A report by inquirer.net regarding ” Pichay, Villar, Recto top media spenders ” caught my attention.
Reelectionist Senators Manuel Villar and Ralph Recto spent P30.29 million and P22.79 million, respectively.
It’s quite a big amount of money that they spend.
The Nielsen study said GMA 7 cornered 56 percent of the money spent by politicians on TV ads; ABS-CBN 2, 42 percent, and ABC 5, 2 percent.
But what did the law says about the maximum amount of money to spend.?
