Due to the success of the Metro Manila Film Festival entry of Bong Revilla, he announced  that “Ang Panday” will have a sequel “Ang Panday 2” next year for the MMFF 2010.
“Ang masasabi ko lang dahil sa resulta ng ‘Panday’ ngayon, abangan nila ang part 2 ng ‘Panday,’” Revilla told ABS-CBN News.
“Ang Panday” earned P50 million in the box-office receipts on the 4th day and took home 7 major awards. The awards include the best actor and best picture award.

The Wowowee show of Willie Revillame along with his staff and co-hosts was stopped last September 6. The show was held at the Harrah’s and Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Ourdoor Arena in Nevada, USA. The show was stopped by the American fire officials because of the fireworks that might affect or cause fire. Revillame and co-hosts apologized to thousands of people who came to watch the show.
It was reported that the authorities were concerned that the fireworks could pose a danger to the crowd who trooped to the 7,000-capacity arena.

Willie Revillame, the host of Wowowee, arrived in San Francisco International Airport last Friday night along with Pokwang, Bentong and the ASF Dancers. The Wowowee staff went there for their shows in Lake Tahoe on September 6 and on the 13th they will be having their show in Seattle. Many fans welcomed Willie in the said airport. When asked if he is joining politics he said he is thinking about it. Revillame still remains on leave from his noontime show.

Former senator and movie actor Ramon Revilla Sr. was responding to treatment after undergoing an angioplasty at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City on Tuesday, one of his sons said.
Mayor Edwin Mortel Bautista (a.k.a. Strike Revilla) of Bacoor, Cavite said his 81-year-old father was placed under observation at the hospital’s intensive care unit after the angioplasty procedure.
Bautista said his father suffered a stroke due to a blood clot. He asked the public to pray for his father’s recovery.
