The Commission on Elections has approved the certificates of candidacy of 37 senatorial aspirants, Chairman Benjamin Abalos announced.
But Abalos told a press briefing Friday that while the CoCs of Joselito Cayetano of the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (Movement for a New Society) and the Genuine Opposition’s Alan Peter Cayetano were approved, the poll body would still tackle the disqualification case filed by GO’s Cayetano against the KBL candidate.
