On June 3, school officials suddenly announced they were closing the school for 10 days after a 21-year old female foreign exchange student tested positive for the A(H1N1) flu virus. On Thursday, health authorities said another foreign student, a male, was also sick with the virus.

The case of swine flu in Australia increased from last week’s 14 to 306 cases  as of Monday . They say that an Australian liner has to be blamed for this.
The ship has been blamed for the explosion in Australia’s swine flu cases from just 14 a week ago, after sick passengers disembarked in Sydney last week before mingling in tourist hot-spots and taking buses, planes and taxis home.

According to DOH (Department of Health), 28 people here in the Philippines has been quarantined for exhibiting symptoms of H1N1 virus which is a deadly influenza virus. All tests they have undergone has a negative result.
The latest patient cleared from this virus is a 4-yr old girl from Naga City. This was according to Dr. Eric Tayag, chief of DOH’s National Epidemiology Center.
