Vote Buying in Isabela

Lente or Legal Network for Truthful Elections composed of volunteer lawyers reported that therewere two incidents of vote buying in Isabela.

Barangay kagawads who are supporters of Isabela Governor Bodgie Dy were seen to be distributing Php 500 at the house of the Barangay captain in Barangay Buculud in Ilagan.

Another Lente volunteer reported that people in the town of Luna were brought to a warehouse of Mayor Manuel Tio. Three members of the Sangguniang Bayan  were seen giving away envelopes containing  Php3000.

Appropriate charges will be filed against those municipal official

Bukidnon, isabela, naga city, oriental mindoro and etc… not only in isabela theres buying votes… im here now at agusan del norte and again there is buying votes… super lala ng bilihan. even if its only 50 pesos its okay to them… panu uunlad ang bansa kung ganito ang palaging ginagawa ng mga tumatakbong politiko… is there any cure with this issue? or we just get it to the flow. god bless to all.
