The Wowowee show of Willie Revillame along with his staff and co-hosts was stopped last September 6. The show was held at the Harrah’s and Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Ourdoor Arena in Nevada, USA. The show was stopped by the American fire officials because of the fireworks that might affect or cause fire. Revillame and co-hosts apologized to thousands of people who came to watch the show.

It was reported that the authorities were concerned that the fireworks could pose a danger to the crowd who trooped to the 7,000-capacity arena.

Revillame said: "We have to stop the show because of the fireworks. Baka nga naman may tamaan ng apoy. We have to follow the rules here in Lake Tahoe. Maganda naman iyon at disiplinado ang lahat. Salamat sa lahat ng pumunta [at] sa lahat who spent time with us. Walang kapantay na kaligayahan iyon.”

Charice and Anne Curtis were not able to finish their songs. Pokwang also was not able to sing for the show.
